The Greenville County Main Library serves the community in many ways, both in the meeting spaces it provides and also as a progressive learning environment. Use of natural materials and textures emphasize the architectural elements. The Children’s Area pops with intensity—alternating bands of color and pattern reflect the city’s textile heritage. In other areas, subdued shades of blue in the flooring and paint offer a sophisticated contrast to the warmth of the natural Anigre wood. The high-tech spaces are defined by a strong graphic carpet pattern.

Bonitz provided the flooring on this project. Successful completion required intense project management and attention to detail. The linear & grid patterns have book-stacks on them so the carpet installation demanded impeccable craftsmanship and expertise.
