The 3rd Army’s $100 million dollar headquarters is described well by Lt. Gen. William Webster when he explained that “not only do we have state-of-the-art technology here, but also the room to get together to do face-to-face, arm-to-arm work. This is a 24/7 facility and it will support us well.”
The Bonitz team was awarded the turnkey contract by Caddell Construction by offering an alternate solution for the use of a custom pre-fabricated modular wall system instead of conventional construction. The contractor was very pleased with our ability to meet their aggressive schedule and communicate among trades. Bonitz associates from Columbia, Greenville, and Charleston worked together to complete this project.
Bonitz worked closely with Caddell and LS3P Architects complete the detailed shop-drawings. Bonitz installed 10,000 lineal feet DIRTT Modular Walls and 300,000 square feet of raised access floor with DIRTT Modular Power and Data. Bonitz also provided acoustical ceilings and all of the flooring. This project was a true Bonitz team effort.
