Update: To our valued customers & vendors

Dear Valued Customers and Vendors:

I believe it is imperative Bonitz do our part to slow down the spread of this COVID-19.  We are fortunate at Bonitz because we have a compass that guides us in everything we do, especially when the path is not clear.  The compass is our vision made up of our purpose, values and mission.  This pandemic is an Event and when we experience events at Bonitz the first thing we do is press pause and focus on the outcome we desire.  E + R = O.  The outcome we want with this event is to have the least amount of negative impact to our associates, their families, our customers and vendors.  Specifically, we want to limit negative impact to the physical and financial wellbeing of all we are connected to. 

Bonitz is aligning our responses to the Coronavirus event around all guidelines of the CDC, WHO, State and local Government.  Our purpose states we will positively impact and enhance the lives of our associates, their families and our customers and vendors. Our purpose assures you that we will do everything reasonable to keep you and our associates healthy.  

We really don’t know how long this will last or how things will unfold, so we will continue to make decisions and evolve to handle whatever comes our way in the coming weeks. After we press pause at Bonitz and focus on the desired outcome when faced with an event, our next step is to get our mind right and control our self-talk. Self-talk drives emotion and often negative emotions do not align with good decisions.  The one certainty I do have during this event is that we will be okay, this will pass in the near term and it will give us one more experience to learn from and talk about.  

We have six values at Bonitz that define how we will do things as we step up and respond to this event.

Value #1- Life Balance:  Bonitz believes balance in mind, body and spirit drives our attitude, and attitude drives our behaviors and techniques. We pledge to stay positive and keep a great attitude. We will work every day to align our behaviors (what you do) and our techniques (how you do it) with the desired outcome. Our desired outcome is the least amount of negative impact to our associates, their families, customers and vendors.

Value #2 - Do the Right Thing: We will follow the guidelines issued by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO) and our state and local governments and put health and wellbeing over financial matters. We understand our responses cause events for others.

Value #3 - Urgency is Essential:  This event is happening now; therefore, we are following all recommended guidelines currently and trying to be proactive in our response and communication.  We would rather over respond under the circumstances than to subject our associates, their families our customers to the consequences of under response. 

Value #4 - Extreme Ownership: We commit to stopping BCD (Blaming, Complaining and Defending) at Bonitz.  We will take care of our 20 square feet and do our part with our health and our work. We are individually committed to doing our part.  

Value #5 - Passion to Win:  We are committed to ourselves, our families, customers and vendors to work to stay healthy and go through this event with the least amount of negative impact on our customers and vendors.  That is the win we desire at Bonitz. 

Value #6 - Power of the Team:  We are 541 associates strong at Bonitz. Bonitz is committed to helping our customers and vendors to continue business as usual, as much as possible.  If one of us is not able to respond or work, we are committed to pitch in and get someone else in our company to fill in and do our best to take care of any request.

We care about you and we are here to work through this event together.  This event is evolving rapidly, and we will continue to monitor the situation.  We will work to communicate on our website at www.bonitz.us as we evolve our responses to the event at hand.

Update: Sales & Product Expo Cancelled

March 18, 2020

This week, the Center for Disease Control provided updated guidelines recommending against gatherings of 50 or more people across the United States for the next eight weeks. Based on these guidelines, it is with much regret that Bonitz has decided to cancel the 2020 Sales & Product Expo. The health and safety of our associates, customers, and vendors is Bonitz’s top priority.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are available to answer any questions and provide assistance.  This cancellation is with a heavy heart as we here at Bonitz greatly look forward to the development this event brings our associates and the relationships it builds with our vendors.  We deeply appreciate your support of this event and promise to make the 2021 Sales & Product Expo a phenomenal experience for you and your team. 

We are issuing full refunds for all registrations and sponsorships.  All credit card refunds will be issued this week and you will see the refund as a credit approximately 5-10 business days later, depending upon the bank.  If you mailed in a check, we will be returning it to you shortly as it was not deposited.
